Iloilo has been one of the province in the Philippines that I’ve always wanted to visit. So going there last July with my boyfriend and another friend has been a dream come true!
We were craving for some delicious but healthy food that day, and we saw that Farm to Table Iloilo is one of the best restaurants with such healthy selections in Iloilo. So we gave it a go.
This is their signature Farmer’s Bowl. It’s an made from an assortment of fruits, vegetables and chicken. It’s like a party in one bowl. The sweetness of the mango is perfect to even out the saltiness of the dressing and the chicken. This was actually one of the best salads I’ve had.
This is their Beef Steak Tagalog. This is actually a very popular Filipino dish and it’s one of my favourites so I liked it very much. It also came with a side of Organic Red Rice.
This is their original Orange Juice. Now, it’s very difficult to find the perfect OJ in the Philippines because it’s always super sweet or overly pulpy. However, Farm to Table’s OJ has the perfect blend of sweetness, pulp and acidity.
This is their Pork Kebab. It came with a side serving of Pita Bread and Sauce, and I think it was great. The pork was really tender and the sauce had a good balance of sweetness and saltiness. Although the Pita Bread was really thin so it sort of resembled the texture of a chip, but I think that was the point, lol.
This is one of their popular drinks; their Pavia Watermelon Shake. It’s made out of only the good stuff including, fresh watermelon, milk, honey, chia seeds and more. It will surely quench your thirst and leave you wanting more!
Now this is one of my favourites; their Veggie Tofu Scramble. It has eggs (DUH), mushroom, bell peppers, onions, tomatoes, and all other wonderful vegetable medley that just bursts out with flavours in your mouth. It also comes with a side of Toasted Wheat Bread.
This is their famous Guimaras Mango Shake. They source out only the sweetest and freshest mangoes from Guimaras Island and they blend it up with milk and honey to get that perfect and creamy mango shake.
This is their Tropical Shrimp and Quinoa Garden Salad. It was made from only the freshest vegetables. The shrimp balances out the blandness of the vegetables and their dressing is the perfect pair to this salad.
They have an assortment of wine from all over the world, which I think was pretty cool!
The ambiance at the store was modern yet provincial. It has the perfect balance. Modern because of the interior, and provincial because of how fresh the ingredients are on the food that they serve. It’s amazing!
My boyfriend (with the cap) and Kendel just enjoying the menu at Farm to Table Iloilo. We were actually overwhelmed by it because there’s so much to try. Hahaha!
I’d definitely recommend Farm to Table for anyone who’s thinking about travelling or for anyone who’s already in Iloilo City. It’s a restaurant that serves only the freshest, healthiest and tastiest food in town.
SUGGESTION/S: Well there really is nothing to say (or write) aside from the fact that this place is legit and it’s the b-o-m-b! If I lived in Iloilo, I’d come here (if not every day) every week because I’d definitely want to try every single dish on their menu. Besides, who doesn’t want healthy and delicious food, right?
DIRECTION/S: If you’re going from SM City Iloilo, you can click HERE for you to be redirected to their location.
For now, it’s sleep time for me as it’s already almost midnight in New York. I have some exploring to do in the morning so stay tuned for more blog post in the coming days!
